Ask yourself: Do you love your current lifestyle, your work, your home, and your routine? Aligning with your values reduces stress and leads to fulfillment.
Step 2: Set Goals:
The second step is goal-setting. Goals act as your life’s GPS, providing clarity on the path you want to take. Writing down your goals daily is a powerful tool for success. Few people actually do it consistently. Commit to writing your goals every day for a year, and you’ll automatically surpass 99% of others who don’t.
Step 3: Take Guided Action:
Writing goals daily is important, but action is crucial. Learning every day and applying that knowledge is key to success. The “Golden Triangle of Success” involves learning, doing, and teaching simultaneously. Teaching others what you’ve learned reinforces your knowledge and accelerates your progress.
Step 4: Get a Mentor:
The fourth secret is to find a mentor. Riding on someone else’s success is more efficient than figuring things out on your own. A mentor should be an implementer of knowledge, not just a teacher. Choose a mentor whose values align with yours and surrender to their proven process.
Step 5: Create a Strong Environment:
Imagine a glass jar where you must place rocks of various sizes, from big to small, along with sand. To maximize space, you must place the big rocks first. This jar represents your environment, and setting boundaries and priorities in your environment is crucial. Protect your environment, set boundaries, prioritize your actions, and align them with your goals.
Step 6: Build Skills:
To get ahead of 99% of others, you must create value in the marketplace. This value is derived from your skills. Identify in-demand skills, make a list, and start learning and developing them. Investing in your learning and career growth yields the best returns.
